This individual will be the champion of UCPM’s visual identity across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency, creativity, high-quality collateral, and innovation. Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Stewardship●Own and evolve the visual identity for UCPM’s main brand and its sub-brands alongside the Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy, ensuring visual consistency across all media.
●Develop and maintain brand guidelines and toolkits; educate internal and external teams on correct usage.
●Audit brand assets regularly to ensure cohesive application and identify opportunities for evolution and enhancement.
Creative Development
●Conceptualize and design high-impact marketing materials including brochures, reports, advertising, signage, websites, email campaigns, merchandise, and video content.
●Translate business and marketing objectives into clear, engaging creative strategies.
●Develop campaigns and creative assets for corporate initiatives, product launches, internal communications, advertising, and events.
Print, Digital, and Video Execution
●Create visually compelling designs for print collateral such as brochures, tradeshow materials, whitepapers, and advertisements.
●Design digital assets including websites, landing pages, email templates, social media graphics, and digital ads.
●Collaborate with video producers and editors to design storyboards, motion graphics, and visual treatments for video content.
Collaboration and Leadership
●Work closely with the marketing, communications, and sales teams to align creative with business goals.
●Manage external creative vendors, including photographers, illustrators, printers, and freelance designers.
●Provide mentorship, feedback, and creative direction to junior designers and freelancers as needed.
Project and Process Management
●Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality standards.
●Lead creative reviews and manage approval processes with internal stakeholders.
●Champion efficient workflows and project management best practices to streamline creative production.
Qualifications●Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
●8+ years of experience in design and creative leadership, ideally within a multi-brand environment.
●Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and familiarity with Figma.
●Strong understanding of both print production and digital design best practices.
●Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
●Ability to think strategically while paying close attention to design detail.
●A strong portfolio showcasing a range of print, digital, and video design projects, with examples of brand development and stewardship.
Preferred Attributes:
●Knowledge of AI image generation a plus.
●Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Salesforce) and collaborative platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive).
●Experience with print production and working with vendors is a bonus.
●A portfolio that demonstrates strong layout skills and document-focused work.
