Base pay range

$46.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Company / Role: Freelance Sr. Art Director

Duration: 2-4 months

Location: Detroit, hybrid onsite for shoots/edits

Hourly rate: $46-60/hr

One of our e-comm fashion/retail clients is looking for a freelance senior art Director to join their in-house creative team for 2-4 months and support a new digital video series focused on streetwear/sneaker culture.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Art Director will take the concept/creative idea for new video series episodes and ensure they get executed correctly in each shoot. Most of the creative direction will already be in place; however Art Director will have some autonomy over each shoot.
• The video series will be produced and live on YouTube; will be utilizing full episodes to create additional assets: various short form content and snippets to repurpose across social - IG, TikTok, FB, X.
• Take part in pre-production calls/meetings ahead of each shoot, as well as some post-production and attend edits with the team (in local Detroit studio).
• Must have strong experience with art directing/styling video and photo shoots
• Hands-on design experience could be required for graphics, video/social assets
• Must have some understanding of sneaker culture - how to style sneakers in a way that allows audience to feel it’s authentic and on brand If interested in and qualified for this role, please forward your resume and portfolio today.
