PALS OHIO, LLC. in Ohio is seeking an energetic Art Coordinator to lead arts and crafts activities for Adults with Developmental Disabilities, promoting creativity, self-expression, and meaningful engagement.

You will supervise participants, document transportation and program activities, and collaborate with staff to ensure safety, confidentiality, and person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must pass the DOT physical.
• College degree from an accredited university or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Acceptable criminal background verification.
• Willingness to provide supervision and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written skills.
• Maintains current annual training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support adults with developmental disabilities, including money management, personal hygiene, community integration, skill building and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including transportation, billing, and program documentation.
• Safely provide non-medical transportation as needed.
• Routinely check van functionality and schedule maintenance.
• Ensure safety equipment is in good working order.
• Attend weekly staff/house meetings.
• Promote a supportive environment following company philosophy, confidentiality, people-first language, empowerment, and fair treatment.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and promote Individual Rights.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
