PALS OHIO, LLC. is seeking a Driver for Non-Medical Transportation to safely pick up clients from Adult Living Facilities or other locations and transport them to daily programming.

You will ensure client safety and document vehicle safety checks, with a focus on reliability and compliance. The role requires a valid Ohio driver license with few points, a DOT physical, background checks, and drug screening, plus at least six months of commercial driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must pass the DOT physical.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Ohio driver license with <6 points and clean DMV record.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.
• Six months of commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up clients from facilities and transport to programs daily.
• Ensure client safety during transport and monitor safety equipment.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks.
• Complete vehicle safety checks and program documentation.
• Attend weekly training meetings and interact professionally with clients.

Our team works together living our core values to create these opportunities.The Driver for Non-Medical Transportation is responsible for performing a variety of duties in support of programing. The driver will be responsible for picking up clients from Adult Living Facilities, residential homes or other agreed upon location and transporting them safely to Programing. Driver shall also be responsible for safe transportation back to the agreed upon location on a daily basis. The Driver is responsible for transportation documentation, cleanliness and scheduled maintenance on company vehicles and insuring that the vehicle functions, including but not limited to, safety equipment are in good working order.POSITION’S ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSSafely pick up clients from Adult Living Facility, or other agreed upon location, using a company VehicleSafely take clients to Adult Living Facility, or other agreed upon location, upon completion of daily program using the company vehicle.Insure safety of clients at all times during transportation on and off the van (i.e. using a safety step)Routinely check functions of van and maintain proper maintenance schedule for the vehicleInsure all safety equipment is in good working orderResponsible for client supervision/supportResponsible for documentation, including but not limited to, Vehicle Safety Checks, billing sheets and other program documentation.Attend weekly technician meeting for additional trainingInteract appropriately and professionally with clients and the community.Must successfully pass the DOT physical.Must have minimum High School degree or equivalent there of.
