Job Summary

The Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech will greet patients, activate patient files, and support both patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Greet patients promptly and courteously.
2. Communicate wait times and provide treatment process guidance.
3. Address patient concerns and recognize emergencies.
4. Follow up on lab and x-ray results promptly.
5. Assist with patient check-in/out and transfers.
6. Document vital signs, medical history, and other pertinent information.
7. Assist with procedures under provider supervision.
8. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring safety and proper technique.
9. Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
10. Complete documentation accurately and timely.
11. Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in examination rooms.
12. Follow infection control and confidentiality policies.
13. Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other procedures as trained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent experience.
• Valid State License for X-Ray.
• BLS Certification.
