Job Summary

The Medical Assistant/X-Ray or Radiology Tech will greet patients, activate patient files, and support patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting areas, exam rooms, and labs or x-ray rooms.
• Communicate wait times and next steps to patients.
• Provide solutions and recognize emergency situations.
• Follow up on lab and x-ray results timely.
• Assist with patient check-in/out and transfers.
• Record vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies.
• Assist with procedures and lab work under supervision.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring safety and proper technique.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
• Complete documentation accurately and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other procedures as trained.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience.
• Valid State License for X-ray performance.
• BLS Certification.
