Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in an inpatient setting under radiologist supervision. You will interact with patients, follow department policies for safety, and ensure accurate documentation and image transfer.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT registration, plus BLS either via AHA/Red Cross or in-house training.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical Training-Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical and diagnostic imaging functions in an inpatient setting under the direction of the radiologist.
• Interacts with patients to welcome, explain and respond to questions and concerns during and following the procedure.
• Identifies patient with two identifiers and documents all needed aspects of the procedure.
• Maintains safe patient environment in the procedure area and ensures imaging transfer to storage systems.
