Job description

The Role

Arriba Abajo is a Cantina-themed Bar and Restaurant, inside the Thompson and Tommie Austin, two premier lifestyle hotels in Downtown Austin. This new concept will open in early Spring to include 17,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor dining and lounge space, multiple venues for private events, and the pool deck servicing hotel guests and residents.

Seasonal Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations. The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. This position offers opportunities for casual conversation, creativity, and allows for building on one's style and previous bartending experiences. Preferred candidates will have an understanding of state and local serving guidelines.

Please note that this is a seasonal position from mid-February to mid-October. Dates may vary depending on business levels and weather.
