Job summary

Ideal Option PLLC in Anchorage is seeking a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner to join our addiction medicine clinic. You will provide comprehensive care across the recovery continuum, from stabilization to long-term maintenance, in a supportive team environment.

The role emphasizes delivering life-changing treatment with buprenorphine and other maintenance medications, performing assessments, and coordinating with behavioral health services.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP license required.
• Active DEA license required.
• No prior addiction medicine experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans for substance use disorders.
• Initiate and manage buprenorphine and other maintenance medications for SUDs.
• Administer long-acting injectable medications (buprenorphine, naltrexone).
• Monitor patient response, adjust medications, and review lab results.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and care coordination teams.
• Document in EMR (eCW) and deliver care in-person and via telemedicine.
