Job summary

Arnold Veterinary Hospital is offering a Veterinary Student Externship in Arnold, Maryland. VetEvolve supports externs with mentorship from experienced veterinarians and access to a well-equipped facility.

As part of the VetEvolve network, externs will gain exposure to wellness, dentistry, routine surgery, and daytime emergency medicine within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School (VMD or DVM degree path).
• Externship opportunity for veterinary students with Arnold Veterinary Hospital in Maryland.
• Stipend to offset housing and travel costs for externs.

Responsibilities

• Mentorship from multiple veterinarians who welcome a student.
• Team has strong clinical skills in wellness, dentistry and routine surgery.
• Gain experience with daytime emergency medicine.
• Fully equipped with in-house lab capabilities, digital x-ray, ultrasound and more.

Veterinary Student Externship

About the hospital: Arnold Veterinary Hospital, a long-standing and well-respected small animal practice, is seeking a full or part time Veterinarian to join our team. We are located in Arnold, Maryland, just outside of Annapolis– Maryland’s state capital. Providing quality patient care and maintaining healthy client relationships are the top priorities of Arnold Veterinary Hospital’s three veterinarians and skilled support staff team members. Our staff, including one Fear Free certified veterinarian , use low-stress handling techniques and spend plenty of time on client communication, ensuring the team upholds their motto, “personal attention from professionals who care.” Ideal candidates will share our core values of serve, evolve, trust, and thrive in a cooperative team environment.
