Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital invites new graduates or experienced general practice veterinarians for a veterinary externship under VetEvolve. Join a 4-doctor team in a mixed animal setting near Frederick, MD, with diverse externship schedules and hands-on mentorship.

The program offers mentorship from multiple veterinarians, exposure to wellness and rehabilitation, and in-house capabilities, including lab work, X-ray, and ultrasound. Housing and travel stipends support externs.

Veterinary Student Externship

About the hospital:

Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital is searching for a new graduate or experienced general practice veterinarian to join our 4 doctor team! We are a mixed animal practice located just outside of Frederick, Maryland. A variety of schedule set-ups for veterinary externs.

• Small animal general practice exclusive
• Small animal + canine rehabilitation
• Mixed animal (predominantly small)
• Mixed animal (predominantly small) +canine rehabilitation

Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital is surrounded by beautiful rolling farmland but is very close to Frederick/Baltimore and Washington D.C. Enjoy affordable land and outdoor activities with the option to experience big city amenities within a reasonable drive.
