Job summary

The Building People, LLC seeks a General Engineer to support Army Reserve facilities and infrastructure programs in Columbia, South Carolina. You will provide engineering, planning, and construction support across real property projects, working with Army Reserve personnel and multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes technical and project support through planning, design, and execution, with opportunities to lead construction activities and collaborate with government and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience providing engineering support across planning, design, and execution phases.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure systems and facilities management.
• Ability to coordinate with government personnel, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support through planning, design, and execution phases of Army Reserve construction projects.
• Support Asset Development Planning (ADP), Master Planning, and regional forecasting activities.
• Conduct civil engineering analysis for roads, bridges, utilities, water systems and related facilities.
• Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Travel for site assessments and project execution activities; approximately 15 site visits per year.
