Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) seeks a Warehouse Specialist to handle receiving, storage, and distribution for Army equipment turn-ins. You will verify documents, code items, and move goods within the warehouse while maintaining strict inventory controls and compliance with DA and Army regulations.

You will support audits, coordinate with unit personnel, and ensure safe handling of materials, including hazardous items. The role requires lifting up to 60 pounds and valid driver’s credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Army supply/property accountability regulations.
• Experience with Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army, LMP, DPAS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug tests and background checks.
• Ability to receive CAC and a REAL ID driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Receive and verify equipment and DA/DD forms.
• Inspect and code items before storage or disposition.
• Coordinate staging and movement within warehouse.
• Maintain inventory records and perform location surveys.
• Operate forklifts and other MHE safely.
• Assist in packaging and shipment preparation.
• Support audits and PARs and ensure documentation accuracy.
