Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) in Fort Stewart, GA is seeking a Supply Clerk to perform supply and warehouse functions in support of Army operations. You will receive, inspect, inventory, store, issue, and deliver supplies while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 70 pounds, plus proficiency with AESIP or GCSS-A may be used. Candidates must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Must possess GCSS-A Certification.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work outside and in inclement weather.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must obtain CAC within 90 days after start.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass background/drug screening.
• Able to stand, sit, bend, reach and lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, inventory, load, unload, store, issue, deliver and turn in supplies/equipment.
• Verify supplies against documentation and report discrepancies.
• Store, stack and arrange items following storage procedures.
• Prepare and process supply documents and system transactions.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required.
• Maintain automated supply-system records and equipment accountability.
