Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) seeks a Warehouse Specialist to handle Army equipment turn-ins, storage, and distribution. You will document transactions, inspect items, and coordinate staging and movement within DA and Army-specified regulations.

Responsibilities include operating MHE, maintaining accurate logs, and supporting audits and PARs. Strong paperwork skills and familiarity with GCSS-Army, LMP, and DPAS are essential, with required drug/background checks and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Army supply regulations and forms familiarity.
• Army logistics systems experience (GCSS-Army, LMP, DPAS).
• Strong documentation, recordkeeping, and safety practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to read Army documentation (DA and DD forms).
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse processes is preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening.
• CAC eligibility and REAL ID-compliant driver’s license desired.

Aufgaben

• Receive and verify equipment and materiel from Army units.
• Check turn-in documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in inspection, staging, and disposition planning.
• Operate forklifts and other MHE to move inventory safely.
• Maintain storage locations, perform cycle counts, and reconcile records.
• Input transactions into GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP systems.
• Support PARs, audits, and environment, health, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with transportation for outbound shipments and deliveries.
• Address documentation discrepancies with supervisors and units.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
