Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) Fort Stewart, GA, is seeking a Warehouse Worker to perform supply and warehouse tasks in support of Army operations.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering supplies, operating forklifts and other equipment, and maintaining accurate logistics records.

This on-site role requires GCSS-A certification, a high school diploma or GED, a valid drivers license, English fluency, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• GCSS-A Certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid drivers license and required Government/Army licenses.
• U.S. Citizen with fluent English (verbal and written).
• Must be able to obtain CAC within 90 days of employment.
• Able to pass background checks and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, inventory, load, unload, segregate, store, issue, deliver, and turn in organizational, direct support, and installation supplies and equipment.
• Verify incoming supplies against receiving documents and report discrepancies or damage.
• Store, stack, palletize, stage, and arrange supplies per storage plans.
• Conduct inventories of stored materials and report shortages or damage.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required.
• Maintain required warehouse documentation and logistics-system transactions.
