Job summary

United States Army Reserve seeks construction engineers to operate bulldozers, graders, and other heavy earth-moving equipment to support construction projects.

You will drive equipment to clear, excavate, and grade terrain, and learn to place grade stakes while working with diverse soil types. Enlistment requirements must be met, including background checks, drug screening, and health standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen or I-551 cardholder.
• Must be between the age of 17-34.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check with no open law violations.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• No felony.
• Must currently be in good health with no physical limitations.

Responsibilities

• Drive bulldozers and road graders, as well as other heavy earth-moving equipment to clear and excavate.
• Use scrapers to cut and spread fill material, transport heavy construction equipment with tractor-trailers, and assist with combat engineer missions.
• Operate all-wheel vehicles and equipment over varied terrain and roadways
