Job summary

Robbinsdale Area Schools is seeking an Assistant Nordic Ski Coach at Robbinsdale Armstrong High School to support the winter program and student-athletes.

The successful candidate will carry out coaching responsibilities, attend practices and contests, and help teach rules and developments under the guidance of the Athletic Director. College degree and knowledge of the sport preferred. Equity and inclusion valued; diverse backgrounds encouraged.

Qualifications

• College degree required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Nordic skiing and high school athletics.
• Coaching experience preferred; coaching license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate an attitude of fair play for adhering to the Minnesota State High School League 'Code of Ethics'.
• Carry out responsibilities of an assistant coach.
• Be in regular attendance at all contest and practice sessions.
• Instruct student/athlete in rules, rule changes, new developments and innovative ideas in coaching.
• Have understanding knowledge of rules and regulations as presented by the Minnesota State High School League.
• Adhere to the educational and athletic philosophy and objectives of Robbinsdale Area Schools.
• Follow rules and regulations of Robbinsdale Area Schools.
