Job summary

Robbinsdale Armstrong High School is seeking an Assistant Nordic Ski Coach to support the ski program and student-athletes. The role involves teaching rules, strategies, and safety, and assisting the head coach in planning practices and competitions.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree, knowledge of the sport, and coaching experience; coaching license is preferred. Commitment to fair play and district goals is essential, as is regular attendance at contests and trainings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Generate an attitude of fair play for adhering to the Minnesota State High School League "Code of Ethics."
• Carry out responsibilities of an assistant coach.
• Be in regular attendance at all contest and practice sessions.
• Instruct student/athlete in rules, rule changes, new developments and innovative ideas in coaching.
• Have understanding knowledge of rules and regulations as presented by the Minnesota State High School League.
• Adhere to the educational and athletic philosophy and objectives of Robbinsdale Area Schools.
• Follow rules and regulations of Robbinsdale Area Schools.
