Job summary

Loomis is seeking a Vault Custodian to maintain secure inventory in our cash vaults. You will work with a team to count and verify deposits, load and unload bags, and ensure accurate records.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift and move heavy loads, and adherence to security procedures, with clear communication to coworkers and customers. The position is full-time and based on-site in a vault environment, with a focus on safety, precision, and reliable reporting of numbers.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Stand and walk for long periods during shift.
• Meet handgun license/security officer requirements.
• Ability to read and record numbers accurately.
• Good verbal communication with team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory in vaults with team.
• Check bag/receipt identifiers and manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers.
• Load/unload bags and coins from carts and wagons.
• Communicate with coworkers and customers by phone.
