Job summary

Loomis is seeking a Vault Custodian in Ohio to join our team and maintain inventory in cash vaults for Loomis customers. This role requires attention to detail, strict compliance with procedures, and the ability to work in a secured vault environment.

Responsibilities include verifying bag and receipt details, counting items, loading/unloading, sorting by route, and communicating with team members and customers by phone.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a minimum 3-year driving record.
• Ability to obtain Medical Examiners Certificate per USDOT rules.
• Valid firearms permit or ability to pass firearms requirements for the state.
• Loomis will pay for security and firearms qualifications, licensing and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Check identifying numbers or seals on deposit bags against receipts or manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts/manifests.
• Load/unload bags/boxes of coin from wagons or carts.
• Sort cargo items by route.
• Communicate with co-workers and customers by telephone.
