Job summary

Loomis US is seeking a Vault Custodian in Bloomington, IL to maintain inventory in cash vaults for Loomis customers. The role involves precise counting, sign-off of receipts, and collaboration with team members to ensure secure cash handling.

The position requires physical stamina for lifting and moving cash bags, adherence to security protocols, and clear communication with customers and coworkers. This is a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to load/unload bags/boxes of currency and coin weighing about 50 lbs repeatedly.
• A valid handgun license or state handgun requirements may be required for the role.
• Ability to read and speak English to read receipts, manifests and reports.
• Ability to sign and record numbers by hand and balance columns of numbers.

Responsibilities

• Check bag seals and numbers against receipts/manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign receipts and manifests.
• Load/unload wagons or flatbed carts with bags/boxes of coin.
• Sort cargo items by route.
• Communicate with coworkers and customers by phone.
