Job summary

Loomis in Tempe is seeking a Vault Custodian to work as part of a team maintaining inventory in cash vaults for Loomis customers. You will check identifications, count items, sign receipts, and coordinate the movement of currency bags and coins.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading bags, sorting cargo by route, and communicating with coworkers and customers by phone. The role requires physical endurance and strict adherence to safety and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry currency bags and coins up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull carts weighing hundreds of pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for long shifts.
• Demonstrated numeric literacy to balance columns.
• Valid handgun license or security license per state.

Responsibilities

• Verify bags/deposits against receipts and manifests.
• Count items, record quantities, sign receipts.
• Load/unload bags/boxes of coin.
• Sort cargo by route.
• Communicate with coworkers and customers by phone.
