Job summary

Colonial Group is hiring an Armed Vault Clerk to support Loomis customers by maintaining vault inventories and handling cash shipments. You will work with a team to ensure accurate counting, sealing, and recording of deposits.

The role requires lifting heavy loads, standing for long periods, and the ability to obtain or hold a handgun license or Security Officer Commission. You will coordinate with colleagues and customers to ensure secure, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak English well to converse with coworkers and customers.
• Must have or be able to obtain handgun license/permit or Security Officer Commission.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Good numeracy skills to count, add, subtract and balance numbers.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Check identifying numbers or seals on deposits and/change shipments against receipts or manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts and manifests.
• Load/unload bags of coin and currency onto wagons or carts.
• Sort cargo items by route.
• Communicate verbally with coworkers and customers by telephone.
