Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Driver 40 Caliber in San Jose, CA to serve clients across government and transportation sectors. You will conduct armed patrols, drive assigned routes, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service to riders, employees, and visitors.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, at least one year of armed security or related experience, an Armed Guard Card, and a 40 Caliber Endorsement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• 40 Caliber Endorsement required.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit employees, riders, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, stations, parking areas, and surrounding grounds.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and report as required.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or security concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain documentation of patrols and incidents.
