GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer to patrol diverse sites such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers. You will respond to incidents, monitor access, and ensure safety while complying with all regulations.

The role requires CT armed endorsement, prior security or law enforcement experience, and strong communication skills. Location: New Britain, CT. GardaWorld offers benefits, uniform provided, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• 21 years old or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• CT security license with armed endorsement
• Former law enforcement/military or related experience (5+ years)
• Six months armed work experience
• Pass LEAI (62%+)
• Pass CT live-fire testing and NRA 80%
• Pass GWSS screening and agility/HPE tests
• Possess duty weapon and magazines
• Certification to carry less-lethal (OC Spray)
• Strong communication skills
• Clean driving record and ability to operate a security vehicle
• Stand and walk for the full shift

Responsibilities

• Respond swiftly and professionally to emergencies and security incidents
• Monitor access points and perform checks on vehicles and personnel
• May operate a company vehicle as part of patrol
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as needed
• Enforce company regulations with courteous conduct
• Provide detailed written incident reports in a timely manner
