Job summary

Prosegur is seeking a Sergeant/Lieutenant to lead on-site security operations, oversee officer performance, and ensure client satisfaction. You will enforce post orders, regulatory requirements, and company policies while maintaining a professional presence and a safe environment for employees, visitors, and assets.

The role requires active armed security licensing, supervisory security experience, and the ability to manage staffing, training, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years security experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Must possess and maintain an Armed Security Officer license/permit per state requirements.
• Active state security license/guard card for Oregon or eligible to obtain before start.
• Valid driver’s license (if site requires driving) and ability to pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift briefings; assign posts and verify staffing meets contractual requirements.
• Monitor site activity; enforce access control, visitor management, and alarm response.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and DARs; submit timely daily activity reports.
• Conduct post inspections and quality checks; correct deficiencies promptly.
• Coach and develop officers; conduct on-the-job training and refresher drills.
• Lead emergency response per site protocols; coordinate with law enforcement and client stakeholders.

The Sergeant / Lieutenant is the on-site leader responsible for day-to-day security operations, officer performance, and client satisfaction This role ensures compliance with post orders, regulatory requirements, and company policies whilemaintaininga visible, professional presence and a safe environment for employees, visitors, and assets.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Operations & Post Management

• Lead daily shift briefings; assign posts, review post orders, and verify staffing meets contractual requirements.
• Monitor site activity and enforce access control, visitor/vendor management, key control, patrols, escorts, and alarm response.
• Maintainaccuratelogs, incident/accident reports, and pass-downs;submittimelydaily activity reports (DARs).
• Conduct routine post inspections and quality checks; correct deficienciesimmediatelyand expedite issues as needed.
• Manage badge issuance, turn-ins, and audit trailsin accordance withclient standards.
• Schedule officers, manage timekeeping, approve hours, and coordinate coverage for call-offs/vacations.
• Coach, mentor, and develop officers; conduct on-the-job training and refresher drills (post orders, emergencies, de-escalation).
• Execute performance feedback and corrective action in partnership with HR/Operations; uphold fair, consistent standards.
• Support recruiting/onboarding,helpinterview candidates,participatein site-specific training, and verify certifications.

Serve asa primaryon-site point of contact for the client; conduct regular check-ins and service reviews.

• Partner with Facilities/EHS/IT/HR to support safety campaigns, audits, andspecial events.
• Prepare and deliver concise incident summaries and weekly/monthly KPI updates to the client and Operations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and site-specific policies (e.g., OSHA, fire/life safety, camera/privacy rules).
• Enforce uniform and appearance standards;maintainequipment readiness (radios, body cams, flashlights, AEDs).
• Lead emergency response per site protocols (evacuations, medical emergencies, workplace violence, severe weather).
• Preserve evidence and scene integrity; coordinate with law enforcement, EMS, and client stakeholders as directed.
• Maintain current post orders/SOPs; recommend updates based on lessons learned and client feedback.
• Track training, licenses, and certifications; ensure all officersremainfully compliant andjob-ready.
• Control site inventory (badges, keys, forms, PPE);submitpurchase/repair requests per approval matrix.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost-effective scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Required:High school diploma/GED; minimum3–5yearsof security experience with2+yearin a supervisory role
• Mustpossessand maintain anArmed Security Officer license/permitin accordance withstate requirements
• Active state security license/guard card for Oregon (or eligibility to obtain prior tostart)
• Valid driver’s license (if site requires driving) and ability to pass background/drug screening
• Supply andmaintaina personally owned, approved firearm.
• Strong written/verbal communication; professional customer-service demeanor; conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Prior law enforcement, military, or armed security experience strongly preferred
• Proficiencywith common security systems (CCTV/VMS, access control/badging) and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability toworkvariable shifts, weekends/holidays, and respond to after-hours incidents as needed
