Qualifications

• Three years of security experience within the past five years.
• Three years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve).
• Associate’s degree or higher in a security-related or law enforcement-related field.
• Successful completion of a police officer’s basic training academy.
• Equivalency by education/experience may be approved on special basis.

Responsibilities

• Respond to active shooter situations and neutralize threats as needed.
• Patrol industrial or commercial premises and monitor for security breaches.
• Inspect doors, windows and gates; ensure secure premises and report anomalies.
• Record time, incidents and inspections; communicate with supervisors.
• Follow post orders and use graduated force as required by policy.
