Qualifications

• Three years of security experience within the past five years.
• Associate’s degree or higher in a security- or law enforcement-related field.
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification may be required.
• Current/state driver’s license is required.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• State Armed License if required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to active shooter by moving toward shots fired to neutralize the threat.
• Follow all post orders and procedures as directed by supervisors.
• Apply graduated use of force only as necessary to subdue or detain.
• Patrol buildings, grounds, and entry points to detect disturbances and hazards.
• Inspect doors, windows, and equipment; report malfunctions and security breaches.
• Maintain records of inspections and incidents; operate radios and alarms.
