Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of security experience within the past five years.
• Three years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve).
• Associate’s degree or higher in a security-related or law enforcement-related field.
• Successful completion of a police officer’s basic training academy.

Responsibilities

• Respond to active shooter by moving toward shots fired to neutralize the threat.
• Follow all post orders and supervise general and specific duties.
• Apply use of force rules; use only necessary force to subdue or detain.
• Patrol facilities and inspect security of buildings, gates, and equipment.
• Notify staff and authorities of irregularities and security threats.
• Write investigation and automobile usage reports.
