Job summary

Silver Star Protection Group is seeking an Armed Security Guard for client-site security in McHenry, IL. The role requires the guard to cover scheduled shifts while remaining flexible to client needs and site changes. You will monitor access, patrol premises, and ensure a secure environment.

Applicants must hold a high school diploma, a valid firearms license, and active PERC/FOID. Prior armed security experience is preferred, and you must own a level 2 retention holster or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide security at the assigned client site(s).
• Be available to work various shifts and client sites as needed.
• Maintain professionalism with clients, visitors, and staff.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance equipment.
• Document incidents and report them promptly.
