Job summary

Silver Star Protection Group is seeking an Armed Security Guard for client-site coverage in Mt. Prospect, IL. The role requires guarding assigned sites, patrolling, and monitoring surveillance while maintaining professionalism and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid firearms license or certification required.
• Active PERC and FOID card required.
• Must own a firearm with level 2 retention holster or higher.
• Previous armed security or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services at the assigned client site(s), ensuring safety of personnel, premises, and assets.
• Be available to work various shifts and client sites as needed; schedule may change.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients, visitors, and staff.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance equipment following client protocols.
• Document incidents and report them promptly for follow-up.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by SSPG leadership.
