Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer to provide armed protective services for a high profile client. Responsibilities include patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and exceptional customer service to protect people and property.

Must have high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years armed security or equivalent experience, and applicable firearms qualifications. Certifications in CPR/AED, NWDTP, OC/Baton/handcuffing, and de-escalation are required or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• CPR/AED and First Aid from the AHA or ARC.
• Federal and state firearms qualifications.
• National Weapons Detection Training Program (NWDTP) certification.
• OC, Baton and handcuffing certification.
• Defensive tactics and de-escalation tactics certification.
• Minimum of two years armed security experience or military/law enforcement.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to operate radio/console.
• Excellent oral and written communication; English fluency.
• Ability to interact cordially with the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed protective services to protect people and property.
• Build and maintain relationships with client employees and guests.
• Report safety concerns, breaches, and unusual events in writing.
• Handle security issues and emergencies per protocol.
• Follow site-specific directives and post orders.
• Greet visitors and assist as needed.
• Patrol the facility on foot or by vehicle.
• Monitor phones, CCTV, and alarms.
