Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer to provide armed protective services for a high-profile client. Duties include armed patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and professional customer service.

Candidates must meet requirements including a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and state firearms qualifications, plus CPR/AED and de-escalation certifications. The role emphasizes safety, protocol adherence, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification from the AHA or ARC.
• Federal and state firearms qualifications.
• National Weapons Detection Training Program (NWDTP) certification.
• OC, Baton and handcuffing certification.
• Defensive tactics and de-escalation certification.
• Two years of armed security experience, US military service, or armed civilian law enforcement experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility is provided with high-quality security services to protect people and property.
• Build, improve and maintain relationships with client employees and guests.
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances verbally and in writing.
• Handle security issues and emergencies according to protocol.
• Follow site-specific directives including manuals and post orders.
• Greet and welcome visitors and employees; answer questions and assist as needed.
• Patrol the facility on foot or in a vehicle.
• Answer phones, monitor CCTV systems and alarms.
