Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor for the Myrtle Beach, SC area. The role oversees the delivery of security services on a set shift, coordinating with site supervisors and account managers to ensure top‑quality protection and customer service.

The position requires 1+ year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and professional conduct. Competitive hourly pay and opportunities for training are included.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the general public and all levels of personnel.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment depending on state/local laws.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with at least one year driving experience and a clean driving record.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless client technologies.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Ability to communicate staffing needs on shift to management.
• Assist in training and evaluating officers and maintaining safety programs.
• Able to work in varying environments and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security services on a specific shift at the assigned customer.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Ops Manager and security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.
• Ensure officers receive appropriate training and adhere to safety programs.
• Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies and vehicles at the account and report inventory issues.
• Respond to incidents and crises calmly and efficiently on client sites.
