Job summary

Allied Universal Services is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to oversee the delivery of security services on a specific shift at a Myrtle Beach site. The role coordinates with site supervision, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and officers to ensure quality service and safety.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ year of security experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and a valid Driver's License.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record.
• Pass background check and a drug screen as required by law and policy.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.

Job Description

Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of an Armed Security Shift Supervisor.

The Armed Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. An Armed Security Shift Supervisor acts as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. They supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Site Location: Myrtle Beach, SC

Security Armed Shift Supervisor: All Shifts

Employment Type: Full Time

Starting Base Pay: $20.90 per hour

Workdays Available: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Shifts Available: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Must Be 21+ Years of Age for Role

A Valid Driver's License

Security Experience 1+ years

Must Have Great Customer Service Skills

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent


• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• Must possess a valid Driver’s Licensewith at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.


• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws


• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills


• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites


• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently


• Communicate staffing needs on shift to Account Manager or Operations Manager


• Assure that officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills


• Assure that employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate district or region HR support employees and Account or Operations Manager


• Administer JSA’s and safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for professional security officers on assigned shift including vehicle/driving safety as appropriate to Corporate procedures


• Assist Account or Operations Manager to manage uniforms, equipment, supplies and vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists
