Job summary

Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services is seeking an Armed SRT Agent in Houston, TX. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, performing covert and overt protection, real-time area assessments, and liaison with security teams to safeguard client sites and personnel.

The job requires 5+ years of security-related experience, a Texas Level 4 license, and certifications in First Aid/CPR/AED. A clean driving record and the ability to obtain firearm credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ extensive military, law enforcement, or corporate security experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to acquire state security and firearm credentials.
• Proficiency with handguns.
• Current First Aid, CPR, AED certification.
• Medical training desirable.
• Texas Level 4 security license.

Responsibilities

• Provide covert and overt protection to the client site.
• Provide real-time information about the surrounding area of the work site.
• Safeguard the work site, personnel and maintain highly sensitive information.
• Work within a cross-functional team and liaise with armed and unarmed security programs.
• Provide support to the EPP program when required.
• Active threat response.
• Emergency and non-emergency response to events.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must interact with all levels of corporate management and liaison with various departments.

The Allied Universal-Enhanced Protection Services Armed SRT Response Team (SRT) Agent is responsible for safeguarding our client sites in Houston, Texas. Individuals must be able to perform in a dynamic environment and possess the physical, operational and tactical capabilities to address wide-ranging security related tasks. This position is a full-time opportunity working Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities:

• Provide covert and overt protection to the client site
• Provide real-time information about the surrounding area of the work site.
• Safeguard the work site, personnel and maintain highly sensitive information.
• Work within a cross-functional team and liaise with the armed and unarmed security professional programs
• Provide support to the EPP program when required
• Active threat response
• Emergency and non-emergency response to events
• Other duties as assigned
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to tactfully negotiate conflict and remain flexible
• Must possess ability to interact with all levels of corporate management, liaison internally and externally with various departments and personnel.
• Must be able to brief, defend, persuade and instruct others on security requirements and policies.
• Must have strong oral communication and representational skills and have the ability to write in a clear and precise manner.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in extensive military, law enforcement, or corporate security experience, preferably in a military special operations branch or protective operations.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Ability to acquire state security and firearm credentials
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with handguns.
• Current First Aid, CPR, AED certification required.
• Previous medical training is highly desirable.
• Must have Texas Level 4 security license

Compensation & Benefits:
