Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Professional Branch Flex Officer to perform armed security patrols across sites and guard client property. You will use the shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts based on your availability and gain exposure to healthcare, education, and finance environments.

This role offers a $22.00 per hour pay rate, flexible scheduling, opportunities for growth, and the chance to work irregular shifts with minimal notice.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Reliable and adaptable to different post assignments.
• Able to operate radio/telephone equipment and monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Active listening and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform armed security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns.
• Sound alarms or summon police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators and enforce rules.
• Control entry points and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe and protect company property; ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
