Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring Armed Security Officers to patrol and safeguard clients across industries from healthcare to education. The role offers a flexible shift-pickup platform to build a schedule around your availability and gain diverse site experience.

Pay is $34.00 per hour with daily or weekly pay options. Applicants must meet basic requirements, pass background checks and drug screening, and be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• 18 years of age or older (21 if armed in some states).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
