Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more. Use our shift-pickup platform to claim shifts that fit your availability and build a diverse site-exposure schedule.

This role offers growth opportunities and requires the ability to adapt to irregular shifts with little notice; pay is $32.90 per hour and benefits are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or client vehicles.
• Armed status depending on state regulations; CHL maybe required.
• No prior experience required (entry-level consideration).
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed) and able to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorised presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
