Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part-Time Armed Security Guard in Atlanta, GA. You will patrol a banking facility, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, monitoring access, and maintaining readiness of equipment while collaborating with leadership and local responders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• 5+ years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by location.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and with sound judgment.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of banking areas, offices, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization as directed by site policies.
• Maintain equipment readiness and communicate with leadership, clients, and emergency responders.
