Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Tampa, FL to protect client sites across manufacturing and industrial facilities. You will conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires 1+ year law enforcement or security experience, 21+ years old, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background and drug checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year law enforcement experience or two years security supervisor/manager experience or three years security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen per law and policy.
• Licensing requirements per state and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and access-control concerns following site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and document incidents, observations, and irregularities.
• Maintain readiness of equipment and comply with laws and company policies.
