Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public while carrying out security procedures and emergency responses at a government location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access; report unauthorized persons and policy violations to relevant personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following established procedures and coordinating with staff and responders.
• Prepare clear reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations and activities.
