Responsibilities

• Monitor access, verify authorization and assist in moving authorized personnel and visitors.
• Maintain daily activity, incident and patrol documentation per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Armed Response Patrol in Bunn, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and follow established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify authorization as directed, and assist with the orderly movement of authorized personnel and visitors.
• Maintain required documentation, including daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol records, in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
