Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Raleigh, NC. You will patrol government locations, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors and authorized personnel while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points and perimeters to identify hazards or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and disturbances calmly and professionally per post orders and procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization and document activity in reports.
• Maintain firearms qualifications and handle equipment per Allied Universal policies and laws.
