Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors and the public while enforcing site policies and responding to emergencies at a government location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms and critical situations and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access, verify authorization and assist in moving authorized personnel and visitors.
• Maintain daily activity, incident and patrol documentation per site procedures.
