Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks an Elite Armed Security Officer Driver Patrol in Austin, TX. This part-time post combines visible armed security at a retail location with professional customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel, while supporting a safe, welcoming environment.

Pay is $26.50 per hour. Schedule includes Sat and Sun 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM.

Qualifications

• At least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least five years armed security experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; driving positions require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security at the retail site and protect personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and disturbances following policy and law.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of store areas, parking lots, loading areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior to site leadership.
• Maintain incident reports and logs with professional communication.
