Top Guard Security, Inc. in Richmond, VA is hiring Armed Security Officers for full-time and part-time shifts. The role includes access control, patrolling, visitor checks, and communication with staff and clients.

DCJS armed license required or ability to obtain baton certification; CPR/AED certification preferred. On-site work with benefits and sign-on bonus after 30 days on site. Candidate must be at least 25, pass background and drug tests, and be able to stand or walk for extended periods.

JOB DETAILS:

Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Will receive a $250 sign on bonus, once you have met all job requirements, and worked on site for at least 30 days.

Job Schedule:

1. Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues 3PM - 11PM

PT

Must be DCJS ARMED certified already, and either have baton certification or willing to get baton certified

Duties include:

Access control in a secured building.Patrolling the facility

Completing radio checks with the other officer and our client

Checking in all visitors

Communicating with various staff on visitors and/or issues occurring

Other duties as assigned by Account Manager and/or our client

This job requires standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, stooping, bending, pulling, pushing, grasping, walking, running, carrying and climbing. Requires infrequent lifting or carrying of objects up to 50 lbs.

Must have or be able to get CPR/AED certified

Must have DCJS Armed License

Will have an extensive background check completed on them prior to starting work

Must be able to pass a drug test and are subject to random screenings per client's request

Must be willing to get baton certified

Must be at least 25 years of age• Authorized to work in the United States• High School Diploma or Equivalent• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check as a condition of employment• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time, up to a full 8-hour shift• Must be able to endure cold and hot weather for extended periods of time, up to a full 8-hour shift• Occasionally lift or pull up to 50lbs• Speak audibly, clearly and understandable in order to have information understood or to contact authorities.• Weekends and holidays required.• Demonstrate professional demeanor at all times, maintaining company expectations for customer service• Strong Communication Skills• Customer Service Focus• Situational decision making; notifications to appropriate personnel as needed• Positive Attitude
