Job summary

Allied Universal in Denver, CO is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed First Aid Patrol. You will support government transit locations, patrol designated areas, and provide a visible presence to deter incidents while assisting passengers and staff.

This full-time role offers a $25.00 per hour pay rate, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for training and career growth within a collaborative team. A background check and drug screen are part of the process.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, property damage, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel and document incidents as required.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and direction of passengers and visitors during routine operations, special events, and/or emergency conditions.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed First Aid Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government transit location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist passengers, visitors, and staff with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, respond to routine concerns, and contribute to an orderly environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.
