Monday - Friday 11 PM - 7 AM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Security Officerin Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations requiring sound judgment. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with teamwork and integrity.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public at a government transportation location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Respond to incidents, roadway or facility-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services when needed.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.


• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations according to established procedures.


• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
